[OS X TeX] Solved: latex command produces PDF instead of DVI

Just made the upgrade. Many, many MB, not suited for those with a 
modem. i-Installer had a problem with CM Super: thought first it needed 
an update too. After TeX was updated i-Installer crashed (crash logs 
available). After its re-launch CM Super did not need an update.

During this TeX 'update' some files in 
/usr/local/teTeX/bin/powerpc-apple-darwin6.8 were deleted ...
