[OS X TeX] Any experience using Metafun's makempy script?

On second thought: seems to simply test whether the OS is DOS/Windows, 
in which case --pdftops is the default; otherwise assumes the OS is 
Unix, and makes --acrobat the default. Probably from pre-OSX times!
