[OS X TeX] pdfsync and multiple files

hi,
Please excuse my ignorance, but pdfsync seems to fail miserably when 
working with a document that consists of a master file and a bunch of 
files for each chapter/section and so on. Command+Click just takes you 
to a place in the master file. Is this normal behaviour? is there a way 
in which I can give a hint to pdfsync that I am using multiple files?
