[OS X TeX] pdfsync - BBEdit - iTeXMac - AppleScript

Hi,

I decided to check out pdfsync (again), and it seems that all
incompatibilities with _all_ packages that I use have been cleaned up.
Contratulations on this progress! (I've been naughty, and tried the
pre-release 0.6 version).

However, it seems I have to use iTeXMac as a previewer to get all the
functionality. However, I do not really like the editor, I prefer
BBEdit. (with some scripts that do metapost and latex compilation for
me - some of the features of the scripts might be handy in iTeXMac, or
TeXShop: creating a draft version without altering the source, the
graphics package in draft mode for all but the final compilation, ...).

So, I don't want to give up BBEdit, but I would like to use pdf-sync.
Well, I thought: iTeXMac support an external editor, should work fine
... double clicking in the pdf doesn't do a thing. Synchronization in
the view menu is on, am I missing something obvious?

I also tried to go the other way with AppleScript, but before I try
this myself: has anyone done this?

Regards,

Maarten
