I did not mean to imply that it was my script, but that it was one I
used and was written by Dr. A. J. Carr. I also use the following
script sometimes (by Heiko Oberdiek):

eval '(exit $?0)' && eval 'exec perl -S $0 ${1+"$@"}' && eval 'exec
perl -S $0 $argv:q'
   if 0;
use strict;
$^W=1; # turn warning on

${title}Syntax:   \L$program\E [options] <input[.pdf]> [output file]
Function: Margins are calculated and removed for each page in the file.
Options:                                                    (defaults:)
   --help              print usage

($bool[$::opt_verbose])

($::opt_margins)
                       add extra margins, unit is bp. If only one number
is
                       given, then it is used for all margins, in the
case
                       of two numbers they are also used for right and
bottom.
   --(no)clip clipping support, if margins are set
($bool[$::opt_clip])
   --(no)hires         using `%%HiResBoundingBox'
($bool[$::opt_hires])
                       instead of `%%BoundingBox'
Examples:
   $0 --margins 10 input.pdf output.pdf
   $0 --margins '5 10 5 20' --clip input.pdf output.pdf
