For those of you who are looking for a way to find TeX packages, check
out <http://tcobrowser.sourceforge.net/>.

It is a front-end for the TeX Catalogue Online, providing a similar
interface to that of BibDesk (although it was written from scratch).
You can search the entries in the catalogue, and also view an entry's
web location directly from the program. Where local documentation is
found for a package, it is also indicated in the program's viewer;
double-clicking the file icons will open up the doc file in the
appropriate program. Remote documentation on CTAN will be opened by
the default URL handler.

Please send bug reports directly to me, not to this list, or post them
on the SourceForge project page at
<http://sourceforge.net/projects/tcobrowser/>.  I set up a mailing list
on SourceForge that you can access from the project page, if anyone's
interested.

Hopefully this will make it easier for people to find those random
packages on CTAN and install them, as well as make local documentation
more accessible. I'm open to feature requests and ideas, but
preferably in the form of patches :).
