Mathematica is like this, but it is. It seems a shell script to make
these changes using tr would be useful. For example, hear's a simple
dostounix EOL charcter shell script:
#!/bin/tcsh
tr '\r\n' '\n'<$1 >$1.unix
One could try to use this (or something like my perl scripts nnfc) to
piece together a 'cleaner code'.
