Thanks for your help, but it doesn't work. The fontset is created
allright (I can see it using list-fontsets), but the second command
does nothing as far as I can see.
I am giving up for now, I wanted 16 point courier, but it does not
seem to be available anyway (I though the fonts were scalable, but
apparently couriers only come in predefines sizes of 14, 18 and 24).
What Emacs are you using (what build and where did you get it from?)
Maybe I will give it a try and see if your commands work there.
