Since those responsible have wasted much of our time and resources, 
perhaps they should make a hefty donation to TUG as remuneration.

I was fortunate to be working all night, so I could keep deleting the 
messages via .Mac webmail (no access to set a rule). Otherwise, I would 
have likely lost legitimate email due to exceeding my storage quota.
