AppleScript complains that "the variable searchtexfiles is not
defined". I replaced "searchtextfiles" by "texfiles_tosearch" and it
restarted to work as before --with the same problems.

It's funny that I too have a definition in the preamble where
\labelwidth and \labelsep appear... but the first piece of code
mistaken as a \label is above it...
