	But if your sysadmin is really so paranoid about security, shouldn't 
he have disabled the CD drive as well??  ;)  Then again, maybe there 
exists an opportunity for you to exploit the security angle and get a 
few Macs installed there.

	To continue OT in another direction, rumor is the bottom-end model of 
the new iMacs, due sometime in September, will ship without *any* 
optical drive installed -- apparently schools (in the U.S. at least) 
are concerned with a different kind of security:  digital copyright 
violations.

	Of course, as long as the kids have iPods, USB flash drives, or the 
like, and the iMac has those ports....
