[OS X TeX] Book class

I get the feeling I've read right past this in my books. As I keep 
missing it, maybe one of you can help. Does anyone know how to let 
chapters start on the left-hand page? I don't want to force them to 
start there, just allow it. I would prefer not end up with blank pages 
at the end of odd page-length chapters. Thanks!
