[OS X TeX] Graphics IN OSX TeXShop?

Please direct me to a definitive statement RE:
1.  A Summary Statement regarding HOW TO include Graphics (whatever 
type) in TeXShop,     OR,
2. Is there a way that TeXShop can use ANY pdf-file in SOME particular 
graphics environment ?      OR,
3. Is some one working on it?
