[OS X TeX] BibTeX error - can anyone see what is wrong?

I moved the entries around, and re-checked the file for any extra line
feeds that might have been seen in Latex. It seems that no matter what I
do, an error comes up.
The most recent is:

This is BibTeX, Version 0.99c (Web2C 7.3.7)
The top-level auxiliary file: V4.aux
The style file: plain.bst
Database file #1: process.bib
Your field is more than 5000 characters---line 608 of file process.bib
  : JOURN
: AL = "The Magazine for Chief Financial Officers ",
I'm skipping whatever remains of this entry
Warning--I didn't find a database entry for "pro:green-zimmerman"
Warning--I didn't find a database entry for "pro:shin-leem"
Warning--I didn't find a database entry for "pro:segev-gebaue
(....this continues for the rest of the bib database)

If I cut and paste this entry to somewhere else, the error still appears.
