[OS X TeX] Printing integral signs, sigmas, matrix brackets

This has happened to me before (Lexmark Z23), and while this not a good
solution, I got them to print and appear on the screen by increasing
the \baselineskip to 24 truept or so. It does not happen to me at my
office where the printer is an HP 4050 tn laserjet printer.
