That installation guide is out of date since May 2002 as the updmap
system has been vastly improved. Please wait just a couple of days and
the new i-Installer will be released, including a CM-Super
install/deinstall package.
For people who cannot wait and want to use the new stuff, contact me
and I'll tell you where to download i-Installer v2 (stable beta).

Apart from the above, if the files have been installed, you need to run
the following commands on the commandline:
sudo texhash
sudo updmap --nomkmap --enable MixedMap cm-super-t1.map
sudo updmap --nomkmap --enable MixedMap cm-super-ts1.map
sudo updmap --nomkmap --enable MixedMap cm-super-t2a.map
sudo updmap --nomkmap --enable MixedMap cm-super-t2b.map
sudo updmap --nomkmap --enable MixedMap cm-super-t2c.map
sudo updmap --nomkmap --enable MixedMap cm-super-x2.map
sudo updmap
You need to remove the changes you performed yourself. This only works
when cm-super files are installed correctly. So, contacting me and
using i-Installer v2 is your best option.
