[OS X TeX] installing TeX-Fat.dmg

Hi Tim

OK so you don't have /usr/bin/basename . I am not sure why. Have a look at
/Library/Receipts and see if you have a BSD.pkg The presence
or not of that receipt should indicate if the BSD subsystem was 
installed or not. (So presumably would that list of stuff in /usr/bin 
if I knew
more about the MacOS!)

Have you got access to the 10.2 installation disks ?
