[OS X TeX] Bib-desk

Hi All

I know this is a damn fool question, but I haven't used bibdesk for 
about 8 months and now I've forgotten how. I've just updated a bib file 
and have been trying to latex an article so that the references get 
read in through the usual method, and …nothing. I remember there being 
a two-step that you have to go through, but just can't recall what it 
was. And no random pressing of buttons has done anything. Any help 
appreciated.
