[OS X TeX] bad pdf

I already had this problem 3 - 4 times: what worked for me was: restart 
the computer (OS X 10.1.5, printing on a USB Brother HL-1250 printer) & 
all went well. I do not know what causes it, only that restarting 
worked, so I guess the problem is with the printing or OS X rather than 
with the PDF file itself.
