[OS X TeX] texhash directories

Hola,

texhash it does not appear to "update" the files in the /User library. 
It displays this:

texhash: Updating /usr/local/teTeX/share/texmf.local/ls-R...
texhash: Updating /usr/local/teTeX/share/texmf.os/ls-R...
texhash: Updating /usr/local/teTeX/share/texmf/ls-R...
texhash: Updating /var/tmp/texfonts/ls-R...
texhash: Done.

There is no "updating ~/Library/texmf/"

Is that okay? Or is there something to append to "sudo texhash" to make 
it process ~/Library/texmf/

The texhash man page is a little vague, but does show "mktexlsr 
[directories]" as it's synopsis.
