[OS X TeX] how to get alpha-tk find and use the tex-bins

hi:  i obviously had a big mouth when i announced in a recent mail 
that it would probably not much of a problem to get alphatk find the 
engines to typeset latex.  well, *i* certainly can't teach alpha how 
to do that.  although i set pdflatex as a helper application, i get 
error messages and nothing is typeset.  is there a way to hook up 
alpha-tk with TeXShop -- i like alpha's editor better, but TeXShop is 
just the best -- IMHO -- when it comes to typesetting.
