[OS X TeX] damn... how to surpress chapter titles?

Hi,
If you 're using the report class then is better to use the
\section{blah blah} command. This will give you what you want. Also with
\subsection{} and \subsubsection{} you can have sub sections and sub sub
section.
Example:
\section{How Everything Started}
blah blah blah
\subsection{once upon a time}
\section{How Everything Started}
blah blah blah
\subsection{once upon a time}
Output:
1 How everything started
blah blah blah
1.1 once upon a time
2 How everything started
blah blah blah
2.1 once upon a time
