[Mac OS X TeX] TeXShop crashing OS X

I have also noticed
since installing 10.1.2 a number of freezes of this kind that don't respond
to force quit.  They weren't TeXShop related though. I saw a suggestion
that having hot sync enabled did this kind of thing and disabling
it for the new Palm OSX seemed to stop the wake from sleep freezes
for me.
