[Mac OS X TeX] iTeXMac editor slow

This is definitely a problem with iTeXMac ... I don't see this behaviour 
in *any* other app, and not even in Word X. I have made sure that no 
other apps are running, I have tried on my office G4 Mac ... all 
machines have the same symptoms.
