[Mac OS X TeX] Seminar+pdf

I want to use the Seminar package to produces nice slides. I use TeXShop that
produces pdf-output. The problem is that slides  in landscape format are not
rotated properly. The following sample file displays the problem

\documentclass[portrait]{seminar}
\input{seminar.bug}
\input{seminar.bg2}
\begin{document}
% ***********************************************
\begin{slide*}
text in portrait
\end{slide*}
% ============================
\begin{slide}
text in landscape
\end{slide}
% ============================
\end{document}
%--------------------

Does anyone know how to handle this problem?
