[OS X TeX] MusicTex or MusixTex

Has anyone used MusicTex or MusixTex on Mac OS X with Gerben's TeTeX 
installation?  Under OS 9, I couldn't use it with TeXtures since the 
fonts were Metafont, but I was able to use it with OzTeX.  I haven't 
tried installing it yet -- I'm trolling for tips from those more 
experienced.
