I prefer TeXView.app's TeX eq -> eps Service where one can set the
equation directly within one's illustration program. Doesn't work within
Illustrator 3, nor Create 1.0, but works fine within Altsys Virtuoso 2
(which I prefer anyway).
The other features sound nice, but giving up Services, etc.? nah.
