OK, so it's the heuristics behind this Design Style = Monospaced which has changed, but the definition of the smart collection is otherwise identical.

It looks like either a bug or a deliberate heuristics change by Apple: a number of fonts that were in this smart collection in Catalina are no longer there in Big Sur, including fonts which are part of macOS like GB18030 Bitmap
