[lucida] About compilation pdflatex on texlive with lucidabr

I did try with your proof.tex on Ubuntu (14.04) and it typesets fine.

Can you please delete all auxiliary files in your proof_lucida directory 
---that is, leave only proof.tex--- and typeset from the Command Prompt 
(as you're using Windows in your example):

         pdflatex proof.tex


Two more tests, also in the Command Prompt:

1) Type

         kpsewhich hlcrv.tfm

and press <Enter>. It should output the path to hlcrv.tfm


2) Type

         pdftex testfont

When you get

         Name of the font to test =

type

         hlcrv

and press <Enter>. You will get

         Now type a test command (\help for help):)
         *

Type, after the *,

         \table

and press <Enter>. A second * will appear; type

         \end

and press <Enter> again and you should have a «testfont.pdf» in your 
working directory with the characters of the font (it's a math font).


Please tell us what output you get.
