I don't know about Lua(La)TeX nor Windows, but, like Bruno, I made a 
test of your neu.tex on my system ---TeXLive 2011 under Linux:

This is LuaTeX, Version beta-0.70.1-2011061410 (rev 4277) 
(format=lualatex 2012.5.9)

It did typeset fine, without errors or warnings. I even added

	$a + b = c$ $\mathbf{a\ b\ c\ A\ B\ C}$

to your example. Now ---as Bruno has said, my LucidaBrightMathOT.otf and 
LucidaBrightMathOT-Demi.otf are version 1.000..., but from 20 Jan 2012!

I didn't know about the command mkluatexfontdb Bruno mentions, so I 
didn't run it.

Maybe Karl can tell us if indeed the font version has anything to do 
with your problem.
