[lucida] Handwriting

Hello,

The following doesn't appear to work

\documentclass[11pt]{article}

\usepackage[T1]{fontenc}
\usepackage[handwriting]{lucidabr}

\begin{document}

Handwritten text?

\end{document}

%-------------

However this works fine.

%-------------

\documentclass[11pt]{article}

\usepackage[T1]{fontenc}
\usepackage{lucidabr}

\begin{document}

\fontfamily{hlcw}\selectfont Handwritten text?

\end{document}

%-------------

Am I misunderstanding how the option works here? The same situation  
holds true with the calligraphic fonts.
