[luatex] endless loop in LuaLaTeX

Hi,

The attached file 'refman.tex' seems to hit an endless loop in LuaLaTeX 
version 1.15.0 (TeX Live 2022/Debian).

It is the heavily stripped-down version of a Doxgen file for the GiNaC 
system [1]. It requires three style files from Doxygen 1.9.4, which I 
haven't stripped down and which are attached to this email in their 
original form.

Running lualatex in gdb suggests there is an endless loop somewhere in 
function test_ligature(lig, left, right) in file luatexdir/font/texfont.c.
