Thanks for the report. Well, it's embarrassing, I mistakenly used master (not
0.1) of luatexbase in the zip. A correct zip is at:

http://tug.org/~mpg/packages/luatextra+luatexbase+luaextra-current.tds.zip

This time, I carefully tested it :-)

Right, luatextra/0.96 is after the luatexbase split out, but before luaextra. I
made a new tag 0.97 to account for the splitting. So, to sum up:

luatextra/previously = luatexbase/0.1 + luatextra/0.96
                     = luatexbase/0.1 + luaextra/master + luatextra/0.97
