ConTeXt macros wrt fonts? I think that ConTeXt and LaTeX are as much away like chocolate ice cream and car accidents. 

Luaotfload provides the ConTeXt otf font loader part for plain/LaTeX but "save human resources" is probably exactly the opposite as the reality shows.
