On the TeX end, there is almost nothing in common between luamplib and the
ConTeXt code. The shared part is mostly Lua.

It's precisely the way things are parsed by TeX before being passed to Lua (and
the result included back in TeX) that I intend to rework entirely in the next
version of luamplib.
