[lltx] [fontspec] selecting font features has no effect?

Weird—since the latest update to fontspec, I don’t get ligatures any 
more (neither TeX nor Common) with fontspec. Plain TeX and LaTeX with 
eu2 encoding without fontspec do work as expected.
