Well, I thought I had made a step by finishing off latex-info.  But then I committed and found it was revision number 666.  Hmm ...  :-)

Anyway, sorry, Karl, for what was really an incomplete commit yesterday.  I followed the suggestion about the calling synopsis and added some examples of using LaTeX commands on the command line, as well as recovery from errors.  For the latter, I did not list all the "skip tokens" stuff since that appeared to me to be not relevant in a modern environment.

I removed latex-info from the to-do list.
