[latexrefman] Latex command line options

Karl,

I am looking at the section on command line.  I'm thinking of mentioning nonstopmode, output-directory, and shell-escape.   My "man latex" on Ubuntu has no mention of the intermediate step for shell-escape of allowing the restricted list of programs to run.  Is there an authoritative list of command line options that I am somehow not hitting?
