OK, I'll try it. Thanks.

Maybe I should say that I'm going to the beach for the week, so I won't be answering emails so much (I hope :-) ).

Just type

   make -f Makefile.1 help

to get gull usage. For instance to generate the HTML :

   make -f Makefile.1 enhtml

To get the pdf:

  make -f Makefile.1 enpdf

To get all the products

  make -f Makefile.1 en

To get the pdf and info (so as to use both compilers)

  make -f Makefile.1 check-en

You can also do :

  alias make='make -f Mafile.1'

in the console used for latexrefman, and then for and subsequent make, e.g. HTML, just type

   make enhtml

(so you save typing `-f Makefile.1' in this console).

Maybe some day Karl accepts to replace Makefile by Makefile.1, but, AFAIU, he thinks that Makefile.1 uses too much makefile advanced programming.

That's all fine, I'll remember that when I upload to CTAN next time (I hope). Is a html target hard?

While you are at it (having a look at the Makefile), you could also try

For English only:

    make -f Makefile.1 dist-en

For the 3 languages :

    make -f Makefile.1 dist

to see if it does the same as your script.

Don't know. Makefile's are too hard for me. PhD in mathematical logic, I could do. Makefiles, no.

I'll have a look.

What about omitting Spanish altogether, as being out of date? But
continuing to look for a maintainer? I'd vote for that.

Ok by me.

Hey, I wrote a small .sh to make the .zip; should I include it in
    the svn or not?

Is it different than "make dist" :)?
