Hallo all,
by translating the following 2 equations with:
latex2html -html_version 3.2,math -nomath mathtest_2
\begin{equation}
\fbox{$\operatorname*{l.i.m.}\limits_{i\to\infty} X_i = X$}
\end{equation}
\begin{equation}
\operatorname*{l.i.m.}\limits_{i\to\infty} X_i = X
\end{equation}
the "\limits" Option will be ignored in equation (2) in contrast to
equation (1) and "i\to\infty" appears behind the operator instead of under
it.
This contradicts the results getting by using (pdf)latex (see the
attachments).
Is it possible to patch this bug?
Many thanks,
Mathias
P.S. Why, the option "fleqn" is ignored to stand-alone formulas? All
formulas are typeseted centrefold.
