Hello Ross;

I have no idea.

I was just trying to make the bitmapped math on my screen look more sharp,
so I was reading this document
http://www.math.vt.edu/people/linnell/l2h_man.pdf   by Nikos Drakos "The
Latex2html Translator" dated 2004, and on page 13 at the bottom, it says

"The installation variable $PK GENERATION specifies which fonts are used in
the generation of mathematical equations. A value of "0" causes the same
fonts to be used asthose for the default printer. Because they were designed
for a printer of much greater resolution than the screen, equations will
generally appear to be of a lower quality than
is otherwise possible. To cause LATEX2HTML to dynamically generate fonts
that are designed specifically for the screen, you should specify a value of
"1" for this variable. "

So, I figured, i''l try it, what do I have to lose? even though I do not
know much about how all font business really works at this time.

Ok, I'll look into this.

Thanks!
