[l2h] something wrong in converting equation

Here is the answer given by Shigeharu Takeno some times ago:

"This may be the problem by -Ppdf option of dvips. Please try to 
set

 $DVIPSOPT = ' -E';

and remove "-Ppdf" of $DVIPSOPT in your l2hconf.pm.

Precisely, the file alt-rule.pro for dvips seems to make some 
problems."

For me it solved the problem.
