[l2h] "\verb|test|" produces "<code></code>" without content

Hello,

"\verb|test|" is translated into "<code></code>" without content 
(should be "<code>test</code>" I guess)

Can anybody help me? 

I have tried latex2html Version 2002-1 (1.69) as well as the current version 
(1.7 ?)
