[l2h] New version - pnmcrop errors fixed?

Hi LaTeX2html users,

five days ago I wrote a Mail to Mr. Bryan Henderson (netpbm) where I reported 
that also with pnmcrop version 10.4 (contented in SuSE 8.1) those well known 
errors with the black borders around the left edge of images and formulas 
still exist. He answered that, as far he knows, there are not any errors in 
netpbm any more, and that it must be a problem of the LaTeX2html script.

I found out that SuSE 8.1 still uses the lh2 version 99.8b and just after the 
release of the distribution the new version of LaTeX2html appeared.

Is it worth while to make the (SuSE-confusing ;-)) *configure-make* dance with 
the new package or does this error still exist?
