[l2h] No equation/images in win98 - please help!

I've installed latex2html(latex2html-99.2beta8) in
win98, run config.bat (results below), then ran
the test program which gave me the following error
message(in a dialog box):
linking file pnmtopng.exe to unexisting output
libpng.dll:png_get_header_ver.

and (in command output window)

Please help, I've spent the last 16 hours trying to
