Yes; you are right. I hadn't committed the fix for this.

It has been done now, along with a few other things.

Here's the log-entry for the most recent changes:


     lots of minor improvements, including:

 --  correct recognition of HTML special chars in verbatim environments
        and when printing the init-file contents
 --  include \n in various places, especially after comments in math
 --  enclose some math environments within {equation*}
 --  allow $target to be included with hyperlinks
 --  allow for a user-definable  &filter_caption_key  for caption-keys
 --  extend the effects of &replace_special_chars to all 8-bit chars
 --  allow  $ABOVE_DISPLAY_SPACE  and  $BELOW_DISPLAY_SPACE  variables
      to adjust the way space is included above/below figures
 --  fixed back-links from footnotes
