[l2h] installing current version in development.

I am installing the current version (as it says in the web site)
of l2h and have the following problem.

When I do the command

make

it does work fine. It creates directories with files that I will
need. One of the directories that it creates is the directory "icons",
with some .gif files.

when I do the command

make install

it first removes the .gif files and then it ask for them as not found.

What is the problem?.
