[latex2html] [l2h] incorrect equation

consider this html:

what's odd about it is that the first line of eq. 3 is the wrong image -
it's reusing the first line of eq. 1, while the latex is different - the
2nd term should not be there - see:

  http://www.turner-family.com/John/l2h/99.2b8/incorrect_img/incorrect_img.tex

it looks like what's happening is that the equations are long enough that
whatever matching is done isn't detecting the difference between the latex,
since it just looks at a bit of the beginning and a bit of the end - but
I'm just guessing
