[latex2html] [l2h] Problems with garbled images.

Greetings fellow LaTeX2HTML enthusiasts:

I'm having problems getting LaTeX2HTML to produce any images correctly.
It's doing several odd things to them, such as adding strings like
``tex2htmlwrapiline279'' actually rastered into the image.  It's also
rearranging their order.  This applies to all inline math-type images,
and ``includegraphics'' type images.

Here's a snippet of images.log, up until the first error:

I suspect you've forgotten a `}', causing me to apply this
control sequence to too much text. How can we recover?
My plan is to forget the whole thing and hope for the best.

I understand the warnings may be unrelated, as the problem exists
regardless of whether math is involved.
