About that last config.pl posting:

I appologize in advance. I was up till 4:30am that day installing code
and ran out of time to post a follow-up e-mail.

After I sent the first piece of information to the tug list, I came
across a few things.

1) the if statement to check for the perl version being mswin doesn't
work... if you know you are running it under activestate perl, set this
to if (1) { etc....

2) even after this change, the config.pl script still doesn't work
well... after some investigation, I figured out that the config script
runs different under Perl 5.003 and the latest Perl 5.6. The original
script (and my script) run fine under Perl 5.6 (the latest activestate
perl release.) You will need to press carriage-return or enter when it
hits the check for which dvips version (when the screen stops scrolling
just press <CR> twice and the config should continue as nec.)
